All learners are not equal. They come in a variety of sizes, shapes, and cultures. Their past experience and current ways of learning might also be very different.
Every individual learns in their own particular way
The Learning Styles Profile will help every learner understand more about how they learn best and which teaching style is most effective for them.
The profile consists of 40 pairs of statements. By responding to these and graphing the results, a profile of how they tend to learn, assimilate and understand new information.
The results are scored in four separate categories
• ATTENDING
Motivation to Learn.
• TRANSLATING
Learning Reliance.
• RELATING
Data Perception.
• UNDERSTANDING
Information Synthesis.
The purpose of The Learning Styles Profile is to provide the respondent with some useful guidance on how they personally travel through these four stages in their learning cycle. These categories represent the four sequential steps in a natural cycle of learning and understanding whenever information is presented. Within these categories are a total of ten individual styles.
